Primark Coat

When it comes to buying a winter coat I'm of the mindset that if you don't spend too much you can justify getting a new one each year.

Manly, oversized coats were a massive trend for A/W on the catwalk and the high street has picked up on this big time.

Keeping in with my theme of not splashing out, Primark has this great coat that ticks all the boxes and is definitely purse friendly at just £35.  And at that price it doesn't matter if you only get one seasons wear out of it.

A Little Majique Gift

Last week we had some awful family news so this little gift my sister bought for my mum and I from Majique couldn't have been more apt.

The rose gold bangle has the saying 'Everything happens for a reason' engraved around it.

Studded Heel Winter Boots

One of the trends I've been seeing everywhere lately is studded heeled boots and you know how us girls on here love a stud.

With winter well and truly here to stay, adding a pair of studded boots to your wrapped up cosy outfits is a great way to glam up your look.

Here's my pick of some of the best boots on the high street.

Zara £69.99

Topshop £40

Linzi £35

Fearne Cotton Shows Us That Pregnancy Doesn't Have To Mean Frumpy Outfits

This latest outfit from Fearne Cotton shows us that being pregnant doesn't have to mean giving up your usual stylish outfits for frumpy maternity clothes.

The Radio 1 DJ was spotted wearing killer spike heels and leather leggings whilst out and about last week.

Known for her rocky style, Fearne clearly isn't letting her ever growing bump effect her choice of outfit.

Towie's Lydia Bright In Posey Print Short Set

Last nights episode of Towie bought us another great outfit from Lydia, with her introducing us to this pretty posey print short set, top £36 and shorts £35, available of course from Bella Sorella.

If you don't quite fancy braving the elements like Lydia, then team the look with a pair of tights and one of this seasons must have winter coats.

Gossip Girl Season 6 Fashion

Last night was the first episode of the sixth and final season of Gossip Girl and it was definitely back with a bang.

I can't quite contain my emotional despair at the ending of one of my favourite shows, not only for the explosive story lines and my love for all things Chuck Bass but for the fashion forward outfits the girls wear in every episode.

As a little farewell and tribute, I wanted to share some of my favourite looks still to come from the final season.

And last but by no means least, my favourite look.  Serena in Alice+Olivia top, Haute Hippie skirt and Christian Louboutin Bollywood heels - Source Wenn.com

Winter Coat From Zara

After being told today that this time in 10 weeks Christmas Day would have been and gone, I'm pretty sure that means it's the perfect time to go out and get yourself a new winter coat.

There's some great coats out there at the moment and this one that I grabbed for myself from Zara is one of the best I've seen.

At £139.99 it's not one of the cheapest on offer but the cut and quality alone make it worth splashing out.  Throw in the military style and leather detailing and you've ticked two of this seasons biggest trends in one hit.

Lydia Bright In Vintage Style Embellished Top

With another series of Towie well underway, it can only mean one thing, an insight for us viewers into the wardrobe of Miss Lydia Bright.

Lydia's style has evolved so much since her first appearance in the reality show and I for one love the vintage inspired looks that she's often sporting.

In last nights episode, Lydia wore a gorgeous gold and cream embellished bat-wing top with a burgundy knee length pencil skirt, a very classy and sophisticated look indeed.

Most of Lydia's outfits on the show come courtesy of her shop Bella Sorella and this latest look is no exception.

Matalan's Gold Metal Toe Cap Shoes

One of my first memories as a child is when my aunt bought me a pair of red patent pumps and from that day on my love for shoes has never faded.

I love shopping in general but for me nothing I buy gives me as much of a buzz as a new pair of shoes.

So imagine my exciting when I stumbled across a gorgeous pair of maroon, gold metal toe cap heels yesterday on a trip to my local Matalan store.  I nearly passed out when I looked at the price tag, not because they were expensive but because they were ridiculously cheap!  At just £16 I couldn't quite believe my luck, but if you think that's a bargain, when I got to the till they were reduced to £10 just because I was a cardholder.

I know I keep harping on about Matalan lately but they've got some great pieces in-store this season and they seem to be at the forefront of producing key trend pieces at very affordable prices.

Matalan's Be Beau Collection

Avid readers of the blog will remember that back in April I was lucky enough to attend a Matalan preview event and, some of the surprisingly good pieces from the Be Beau range ended up on here for you lovely lot to see.

One of my favourite items in the collection was this blue top with detachable collar.

If you're a fan like me then head on over to the Matalan site or your nearest store ASAP, as it's just gone in the sale for a mere £14.

New Looks Waterfall Leather Look Jacket

I know I should be buying a winter coat, if any, but I've had my eye on this New Look jacket for ages and couldn't resist the temptation any longer.

I opted for the mink version rather than the black, as in my opinion the mink looks more expensive than it's £39.99 price tag but that's just down to personal taste.

The combination of the waterfall front and the leather look material tick two of this seasons key trends.

Tip: I'd highly recommend trying it on before you buy as it comes up very small compared to other New Look jackets.

Kryolan's Make Up Is Science Launch

The last couple of days for me have been spent as part of the styling team for professional make up brand Kryolan's re-branding launch.

Kryolan have been around for over 60 years making them one of the oldest brands in the world.  They're a family run business spanning three generations and unlike other make up brands, they actually make the products that they are selling using their own formulas and recipes.

The Make Up Is Science theme of the launch was evident in every tiny detail, even the canapes were served in test tubes!

Bloggers, make up artists and many of the beauty industries greats were in attendance to help Kryolan celebrate their re-branding and to watch as the advertising pictures were brought to live right before their eyes.

And as for the goodie bag, I can honestly say it's one of the best I've had.

Anna Dello Russo For H&M

Queues started as early as 6am this morning outside H&M stores as fashionistas tried to get their hands on the high street brands latest collaboration with Vogue Japan's editor Anna Dello Russo.

The collection consisted of a line of jewellery, sunglasses, shoes and bags with animal motifs gracing some of the jewellery in the range.

Wristbands were handed out to those waiting, allowing them a 15-minute time slot to go crazy.  Unlike previous collaborations, shoppers were allowed to buy as much as they could possibly carry, happy days!

The jewellery from the range sold out online within 3 hours, proving yet again that H&M sure know when they're onto a good thing.

Matalan's Snakeskin Peplum Top

Peplum's are a massive trend for a/w and the catwalks and high street are full of a wide variety of styles and colours.

With the British weather being it's usual grey and miserable self, Matalan's long sleeved, snakeskin peplum top, from their stylish Be Beau range is a must have.

It's the perfect way to dress up a pair of skinny jeans.  Add some bright killer heels and you're ready for a night on the tiles.
