A Wardrobe Staple

Tailoring and specifically a long waistcoat is a must have wardrobe staple for any woman.  Adding one to an outfit gives that polished, sleek silhouette that celebs such as Victoria Beckham can't get enough of.  So much so that her latest collection is full of classic tailoring.

The androgynous look is still bang on trend but if like most you are a bit wary of how to accomplish the look then popping on a waistcoat gives you the feel of androgyny without coming too much out of your comfort zone.

The Queen of all statement necklaces

Here at Sister Stylista we are massive fans of a statement necklace.  Adding one to an outfit can completely pull a look together and drastically updates a plain top/dress.

I personally feel that as much as there are plenty of beautiful designer statement necklaces around, you don't need to spend a pretty penny to get this look.  The good old high street has some great pieces that still look classy and way more expensive than they actually are.

My most recent addition to my ever growing necklace collection may not be for the faint hearted but it certainly catches peoples eye whenever I wear it.

My Flash Trash at London Fashion Weekend

Last month Claire and I popped along to London Fashion Weekend to check out some of the up and coming talent that was on display at Somerset House.
One of the best parts of the day was getting to mooch around all of the stalls that they have there.  Luckily for us we stumbled across the My Flash Trash stall and we both just couldn't resist buying ourselves this little beauty of a ring at the bargain price of £5!

Monochrome and Ear Cuffs

The monochrome look is still standing it's ground among the fash packs and after buying this little number I'm right there with them!
To toughen up the look I like to accessorise with a studded ear cuff.

Red sirens at the Golden Globes

Last nights Golden Globes were all about a splash of red and I'm not talking about the carpet!

This colourful trio stood out in the crowd for me.
