Admittedly I was a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to the Kardashian clan but after finally giving in to temptation I'm now an avid follower.

The Kardashian brand is well on it's way to world domination and the fashion industry is no exception.

One of the things I love about the sisters is their eye for fashion and it looks like I'm not the only one.  Since launching their first clothing line it's been a massive hit worldwide.  With Sears stores across the US stocking their collection and the option to buy online anywhere in the world means we can all steal a piece of their style.

Time for a good old spring clean!

With the weekend being a complete wash out, I decided it was the perfect opportunity to give my wardrobe a good old spring clean.  Although once I started I began to wish I hadn't bothered!
After two hours and a lot of sitting and staring at the mess I'd created, I'm finally done.  And I must admit it was a very theraputic experience.
Somehow, even after getting rid of two bin bags full of clothes, my wardrobe is still jam packed!!  Oh well, at least I've made a tiny bit of space for all my new purchases.
Thinking I've got a slight shopping addiction now though!!
   

Shopping & Hobnobs!!

Why is it that as soon as I try and deprive myself of something it's all I can think about!?!

Attempt number 1 - As it's less than 2 weeks until my holiday I tried to keep off the pounds by eating healthy - attempt failed! (I've eaten a pack and a half of chocolate hobnobs in the last week)

Attempt number 2 - Next I tried to save the pounds by not shopping, you guessed it - attempt failed!  I went for a little shop yesterday with the intention of just "window shopping" but succumbed to buying a few little treats.

Obviously I've told myself that it was purely for the blog so that I had something to share with you all, mwahahaha!!

Twist & Tango

I've recently been introduced to a new label and I must say it's not too shabby at all!  Twist & Tango is a Swedish fashion brand founded in 1995.  The range consists of simple yet stylish everyday clothes with a vintage vibe, right up my street!  The brands philosophy is fun, simple, personal and feminine which shows in the cut and style of the collection.

Matalan's A/W 2012 Preview

Yesterday I popped along to the very trendy Vinyl Factory for Matalan's press day to preview the re-launch of their Et Vous range for A/W 2012.  I must say that I was very impressed indeed!  There were timeless and vintage inspired pieces in abundance with sequins and little injections of colour everywhere.  They also managed to achieve the minimalist look with ease by layering some essential wardrobe pieces. I will definitely be taking a trip to my nearest store when the range is released.  Here's a few of my favourites from the collection.

Chloe Green's Shoe Debut

The daughter of Topshop boss Sir Philip Green hosted a cocktail party at the Dover Street Arts Club in Mayfair to showcase her first shoe collection.  Chloe has designed 8 green soled styles under the label CJG(her initials).  The launch date for the range is May 17th and will be available at Oxford Circus's Topshop and online at CJG.com.  With an A/W 2012 collection already confirmed it looks as though Chloe is expecting them to be a hit.  Surely owning over 200 pairs herself must mean that she knows a thing or two about what women want!

The Only Way is Lydia

Lydia is fast becoming the one to watch when it comes to fashion on TOWIE.  Turning her back on the typical Essex attire and making high street look more high end.  Along with the cringeworthy lines and of course nanny Pat, Lydia is becoming one of the main reasons I tune in twice a week.  Last nights episode certainly didn't disappoint in the fashion stakes with the debut outing of that totes amaze Mac!  The Mac in question can be found online at www.bellasorella.co.uk or in store for a mere £85.00!!  Be quick though my friends, most things seen on the show sell out pretty sharpish.

The Mulberry Del Rey Bag

Most of you have probably gathered by now that I'm a massive fan of Mulberry and, just to make me love them even more they've only gone and teamed up with Lana Del Rey for their latest piece of eye candy!  Inspired by Del Rey's retro hollywood glamour Mulberry decided to use the singer as their muse. The Del Rey is part of their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection and promises yet again to be another timeless classic from the label.  Just to wet your appetite Mulberry released a limited number into three stores including the New Bond Street branch back in April.  It's official launch worldwide is May 14th(my dad's birthday) but they already have an impressive 3,000 people on it's waiting list! At £795.00 a pop it's not cheap but just do what I do and tell yourself it's a good investment for the future.

Festival fashion at Coachella

This weekend the trendy folk descended on Mojave Desert, California for the first instalment of Coachella 2012.  Starting the festival season off with a bang were bands such as The Black Keys, Metronomy, Radiohead, The Vaccines, Kasabian, Madness and newcomer Gotye.  With the second round still to come next weekend it's the perfect place to check out the latest trends and to get some ideas on how to look chic at this years festivals.  To me festivals are as much about the fashion as they are the music.
