Essex Fashion Week

If you like an excuse to get dressed up to the nines and a bit of reality star spotting then this is certainly the place for you!  With half the TOWIE cast, a fella from Take Me Out and some Desperate Scousewives it was like being at the fashion equivalent of Big Brother.  Now for the fashion bit...personally I thought the catwalk show was a tad too long (it lasted nearly 5 hours) and the clothes weren't really my cup of tea, but if you're a fan of the outfits worn on shows such as TOWIE you'd be in fashion heaven.  Designers such as Boohoo and Essex success story Joey Bevan (currently head designer on America's Next Top Model) and reality stars Amy Childs and Jessica Wright all showcased their latest collections.  For me the £50 price tag was a bit steep for what you actually got and the VIP status suggested on the wrist band didn't get us any extras.  The goody bag which consisted of a book, pen and piles of leaflets left us slightly disappointed!  To sum it up...if you're not massively into fashion and are just after a day out mixing with some celebs then it's the perfect event for you!
